A family business built on careful planning
Harlow Property Investments Ltd is a family property company run by mother and son Alison Harlow and Lewis Daniels. We buy, refurbish and let good-quality homes across Leicester, Loughborough and Leicestershire, including shared houses (HMOs) and serviced accommodation, which we keep and look after ourselves.
Alison spent 31 years in the NHS leading change and transformation projects. She brings the same careful planning, clear communication and attention to detail to every property we take on, and to every relationship with the people we work with.
The company is fully insured, with professional indemnity and public liability cover, and is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office.
Working with private investors
Lending to a property business
Some investors choose to lend money to Harlow Property Investments Ltd to help fund the purchase and refurbishment of homes we buy and keep. Each arrangement is agreed individually and set out in a written loan agreement.
How loans are secured
We aim to secure loans against property owned by the company, for example with a legal charge registered at the Land Registry. Before anything is agreed, we explain exactly what security applies to your loan and how it works.
Clear, open information
You'll see the details of each property, our figures and our plans, so you can make your own decision in your own time. We encourage everyone to take independent legal and financial advice before lending.
Who can lend
Lending opportunities are only available to people who meet the legal criteria to receive them, such as certified high net worth or sophisticated investors. We'll ask you to confirm this before we share any details of a specific opportunity.
Your capital is at risk
Property values can fall and projects can be delayed, so you could get back less than you lend. Lending to a private company is not covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). Only lend money you can afford to be without.
